It's been 8 years since I last wrote about where to find import Japanese pop culture/otaku Anime goods from shops around Hong Kong so I thought I'd write about it again. I visit HK frequently so it's worth knowing about these places for me being a big fan of Japanese video games and Anime. Not much has really changed since that post in 2009...
Been a long time since I last built a Sankei papercraft which was over 4 years ago after I got back from my first trip to Japan. Don't really feel like I have the patience for one of these any more since they literally take a whole day to put together but, I saw this and since I'm a fan of Doraemon, I imported it. It was during the pandemic when...
Wasn't really planning on going for the platinum trophy and just wanted to see the story since I enjoyed Persona 5 but not that great at ARPGs. Then I looked at the list and thought, "Hmmm, it's actually obtainable," and changed my mind. It's a fairly easy platinum trophy... as long as you have the patience for level grinding. You can...
After all the spin-offs it's good to see the story pick-up from the original game (not Royal with the new female member unfortunately). Otherwise known as Persona 5: Scramble in Japan, the story picks up 6 months after the events of the original Persona 5 as the gang decides to meet up again and go camping together for the summer...
I was quite excited when I learned Bandai was going to release an Evangelion themed Tamagotchi, "All Purpose Oval Weapon, Evatchi (エヴァっち)" early in the year June 13th. I wasn't too keen on the idea of raising an Angel but being an Eva fan it was going to be a fun collectible. So I was quite disappointed when I found all the stores online...
As you might already know, I'm quite a fan of Fate/Stay Night so when I saw this cute and detailed Saber Nendoroid, I decided to buy it from the market place. Unfortunately, it's a really old figure so naturally people have been jacking up the prices but it was that or a bootleg... And considering the poor quality of small bootleg figures...
When someone discovered Atlus had registered the pq2.jp domain, it was obvious there was going to be a sequel to the first Persona Q fan service dungeon crawler so, it's no surprise we have a sequel in the form of Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. Featuring the gang from all three Persona games, 3, 4 and the more recent 5. The story takes...
This is the second scale figure I've imported and will be my second figure from the Fate series. The official title suggests it's Saber from Fate/Stay Night but she's actually from Fate/Unlimited Codes, a PS2 beat-em-up game loosely based on the same story. The detail on the armour and swords looked really impressive! Theres...
I really liked the kimono and paper parasol on this figure. Wasn't impressed with the paint work on the bootleg 1/6 Shiki figure's kimono so I decided to go for the authentic figure since it wasn't that much more expensive than a new PS4 game. Going to be my first authentic figure too after having a look at a whole series of bootleg ones....
I quite enjoyed the ACCA-13 Anime because it was steadily paced like nothing's happening but you had to pay attention to what's going on. That and it has some great theme songs like "Shadow and Truth". It has some great retro looking backgrounds and world setting too. So here's the background artbook filled with art from Studio Pablo...
