Angel Dust, nano-technology that can augment a human to turn them into super soldiers. Red Pegasus, the criminal organisation who had killed Ryo's partner are back again and was backing development of the tech. When Cat's Eye partners up with Ryo, a surprise attack causes them to lose the new modified version of the tech known as "ADM" while trying to steal it.

Angie "Anonimo", a Wet Works mercenary who works for Union Toupe the ones a rank up above Red Pegasus, suddenly appears before Ryo seeking help now seeks to revert her team back to the way it was, by destroying ADM which meant betraying her organisation.

What Ryo didn't know was Angie also wanted to prove her worth by defeating the legendary City Hunter and in turn show that ADM wasn't needed. Ryo meanwhile is determined to save Angie despite her goal.

Latest City Hunter movie with Ryo up to his usual "mokkori" antics but there's plenty of tech revamp with robots and smartphones. It kind of feels like the staff chose Shinjuku and Odaiba because the show was popular at an international level at one point so might as well use tourist spots for the setting.

It's nice to see more backstory of Kaori's brother and we actually get a reason as to why Ryo has such superhuman abilities.

I think this was better than the first reboot movie Private Eye which was more about nostalgia. A good watch for City Hunter fans.
