New Year's morning and it looks like we might have a Blue Tit couple moving in. It perched outside the bird house for quite a while while its (presumably) other half was scouting the area. Usually we don't see these birds around until spring then they fly in and out until the late evening. It's pretty sad to learn they only have an average lifespan of 1.5 years.

I think we're going to see more of our neighbour's white cat prowling around on the fence again ^^;
