So, how have those of you in NA being enjoying the localised version of Persona 3 Portable? I think they did a good job with the original game so I presume they’ve done the same with the portable version.
Anyway, just wanted to let you Persona fans know the first P3P Drama CD is due out in August 28th this month, featuring all the new characters from the latest version of P3 and is available at the usual place.
It is summer and the female members of the S.E.E.S. are out in their Yukatas to go to the summer festival at Nagashima Shrine. Full of excitement for the event, there’s enough girls talk to make flowers bloom. On the other hand, the guys aren’t interested at all but when they take Koromaru out for a walk during the night, they come across the girls.
Can’t get enough of the FFXIII story? Well, “Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero – Promise“, a set of novellas that take place before the events of the main game, has been freely available for reading online for some time now.
Only chapter one of the story “Encounter” came on a bonus drama CD with the 5 disc, First Press Limited Edition of the Japanese OST. Now, all chapters will be voiced and recorded into a single drama CD due for release on September 15th with big name Seiyuus such as Maaya Sakamoto involved.
One bonus story not available on the website will also be included and the first press edition will come with a slip case cover.
Wonder if Toriyama and Watanabe will eventually release a hardback novel like Nojima did with FFVII: On the Way to a Smile?
Kita-san spotted a 4 page Persona 3 Portable interview with Atlus Persona game director, Katsura Hashino in this April’s issue of Dengeki Playstation with some interesting details in it…
When asked about the next Persona title that they are about to start, Hashino made no comment whether it was Persona 5 or on which platform it will be other than it will have new features.
However, in answer to fans hoping for a Persona 4 Portable, he comments that they will not be producing it unless they can find some method of including certain content that they couldn’t when they developed P3P. Maybe he means the realtime 3D cutscenes that were in the original PS2 game but were removed in the portable version?
He goes on that if they did indeed produce P4P, there would be some sort of cross-over in it with other games which, I presume means that they would have some P3P cameos as Atlus tradition goes.
Came across this while I was checking for new P3 Drama CDs.
It appears Geneon Entertainment is due to release the first Persona 4 drama CD on April 24th. It’s not known what the story will be about but, Amazon lists the cast as Chie Satonaka (Yui Horie), Yukiko Amagi (Ami Koshimizu), Kuma (Kappei Yamaguchi), Yosuke Hanamura (Shoutarou Morikubo) and others.
I wonder if they’ll portray the Protogonist as a cocky character since both his character design and some of the answers during dialogues were very much that way in the RPG.
Aniplex is having a “Persona Music Campaign” giving Persona fans a chance to buy all the P3 and P4 soundtracks together as a package. The package includes a deluxe box to keep them all in as well as two alternative covers to decorate the box with and one clear card.
The catch is, different online vendors offer different designs.
