It looks like Nintendo has finally decided to unlock the full potential of the Wii's SD card slot which previously could only be accessed via hacks.

Now, everyone can use up to 32GB SDHC cards to store and play Virtual Console and WiiWare titles.

Who knows. Maybe we'll be able to load "open source" ISOs off memory cards instead of having to burn them onto DVDs first.
