Will the Nintendo DSi Support Backups without Flash Carts?

Just a thought... It's already been pointed out that the new Nintendo DSi could be paving the path for piracy with its built-in support for SD cards but, what about the internal memory itself?
The DSi has lots more memory to help speed up the DS version of the Opera browser and enough room for up to forty different DS Ware titles so, perhaps hackers will end up making use of that for storing ROMs too, not just the currently available flash carts such as the M3 Real.
I don't know what the actual technical specs are but, I can imagine someone writing a homebrew program that fits into one of these free slots then, allow users to send ROMs to the console wirelessly...
