Traffic, Bandwidth Usage and Top 10 Posts for April 2008
It's now been two months since I moved my blog to a private host. For April the blog has managed to use 6GB of bandwidth which is more than double that of March. This is probably because the traffic is slowly rising back towards the 1000 daily mark that my old blog on Wordpress used to get and the increase in images I've been uploading.
The top 10 posts of April 2008 were...
- The FFVII Crisis Core Desktop Goodies for Square-Enix Members Only
- FFVII Crisis Core Finished in 14 Hours, Impressions and Hints at an FFVII Remake or Just Teasing?
- Persona 3 Goodies, P3 FES Fanbook and Drama CDs
- Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G Release Date and Features Revealed
- Persona 3 Drama CD - A Certain Day of Summer
- Persona Trinity Soul 15, The Truth is Out
- Persona Trinity Soul 14, The Contact Shows His Face
- 5 Centimetres per Second Novel
- Persona 4, The Mystery Kuma and Yukiko Amagi Missing
- 5 Centimeters per Second Novel, Part Three - Byosoku 5 Centimeters
Popular posts hasn't changed that much with the FFVII content being the most popular. It's been so long since I translated the Advent Children short stories, "On the Way to a Smile" that it's spread to so many fan sites to make my one and only original site redundant now. Had planned to edit my translations but er, never got round to it with other stuff going on!
Next, we have the Persona 3 content which isn't surprising considering Persona 3 FES just got released state-side just about two weeks ago. It seems there were plenty of people seem to want to know if Akihiko ever appears in the spinoff Anime show "Persona Trinity Soul" which landed them on the episode fourteen summary from search engines. And finally, there's the referrals pointing to the Persona 4 post which explains how the new Persona game this summer starts.
FFVII has always been big so it's no surprise that it managed to top all other posts and get over double the number of views others got. "Cissnei" continues to be a very popular search term. She must be a very popular girl with Crisis Core players. The Persona trend shot off after Persona 3 arrived as far as I know so again, it makes sense those posts manage to take up a good number of positions over the month.
What I was interested to see was my "5 Centimetres per Second" novel posts managed to make it into the top ten considering the small number of Western fans who actually want to know more about the bitter-sweet Anime movie. Most just thought it was either too sad or it was just a "watch it and leave it" thing.
Will be interesting to see what crops up for May... I might need to use some shorter titles for my posts but I think it's more descriptive the way it is now!
