For the red "Don" notes you tap the centre of the drum, blue "Kat" notes you tap the side and for the new "Den Den" note you have to alternate between "Don" and "Kat" to spin the little drum for the number of times shown.

Wireless mode will allow players to compete against each other, still drumming away but with some obstacles on your Taiko such as bombs.

I was thinking the game would come with an extra stylus so that it would feel like you're really drumming on a Taiko but, oh well.
