NDS Lite Noble Pink

With games such as Animal Crossing and Nintendogs being so popular amongst females, Nintendo has decided to release a new colour to their range of NDS Lites, Noble Pink! Going for 16,800 Yen, the new coloured NDS Lite will go on sale next month, July 20th.
Other colours available in Japan are Crystal White, Ice Blue and Enamel Navy.
The NDS Lite was launched last Friday, June 23rd in Europe and available in white or black only at the moment, black being an exclusive European colour.
The new iteration of Nintendo's DS as advertised everywhere:
- Smaller, 2/3 size of the original.
- 21% (57g) lighter than the original.
- Sharper, brighter screen with 4 levels of adjustable brightness.
- Larger stylus.
What they fail to tell you is that the NDS Lite comes with a bigger battery too. Rated at 1000mAh, it lasts twice as long (approx. 18 hours or more) than the original NDS when played at the same brightness level. Great if you go on long journeys a lot.
Several things have also been repositioned such as the mic which has been moved in between the two screens, Start & Select buttons for easier access and the power switch to the side.
Unfortunately, they haven't replaced the volume switch. Personally, I'd like them to replace it with a wheel because the slider is just too hard to adjust. You end up with a volume that's either too quiet or too loud.
Also, the DS Lite package doesn't come with a thumb strap like the original DS does.
