Wakana Kinme has been diligently running her own laundry store in Atami for the past 2 years but doesn't remember anything else beyond that. As she provides her cleaning service and goes out of the way for the locals, she meets all sorts of people and important items that are delicate to clean.

Thought it'd be an interesting slice-of-life show but unlike some it has a bit of fan service to it in the form of the familiar steamy bathing scenes, camera angles and other odd "accidents". There's even an episode dedicated to "innocent social network oriented" photos too and a dedicated swimsuit episode.

Wakana's a bit of a bimbo and her unguarded personality ends up creating an older woman and school boy relation, although it's mostly suggestive. Kyusho does act decently rather than go on with the common accidental grope jokes.

Interestingly enough, every character's last name originates from fish while their first name is of a material available as a locally such as Kinme is the fish Kinmedai while her first name Wakana stems from cotton (wata).

That said, every time Wakana's goes out of her way to clean a precious object there is a bit of a wholesome story. Show is brightly coloured, everyone's on their best behaviour so it's still a happy show to watch if you can ignore the odd fan service. The odd bit of cleaning trivia was enjoyable too.
