The three homeless friends runaway Miyuki, trans Hana and ex-circuit racer Gin discover an abandoned baby while Hana insisted on looking for a present for Miyuki during Christmas night. Instead of handing the baby to the police, Hana decides to adopt it instead as "Kiyoko", taking it as a special sign on Christmas. Before long, they decide to set off to track down Kiyoko's mother using the clues left behind.

Decided to give Kon Satoshi's works another chance since this was rated as his best work and the storyline seemed different.

Right off the bat there's a lot of comedy so it's completely different from Perfect Blue and Paprika. Speaking of which, again, if you'll find posters of his other works in scenes.

It's a fun watch with its goofy characters and wholesome scenes. There's a lot of coincidental encounters too similar to Bacanno or Durarara. Wouldn't be out-of-place if it was a regular Christmas movie like Home Alone (well ok, not all scenes are family friendly).
