Touring After The Apocalypse (2025, Nexus)

With Touringram as her guide, Yoko has left the shelter with android Airi to tour the places around Japan her older sister, Chitose had before sea levels had risen. Along the way, they meet various entities. As they travel and scavage for food, she dreams what it would have been like to spend time with her sister pre-apocalypse.
First impressions is how vividly coloured the scenes are - a bit too colourful for an apocalypse show. Instead of the doom and gloom grey shades that Girls Last Tour had, the greenery of nature has taken over everything. It's detailed in such a chaotic way, it makes you think if it was AI generated.
Bike enthusiast focused episodes were pretty dull since they lost the whole post apocalypse element and more like someone enjoying having a deserted place to themselves (well, guess you could say that for the non-bike related places too).
On the other hand, I do like the accompanying light-hearted music (not a fan of the songs the heroines sing though). This all goes hand-in-hand with our two heroines doing silly things while exploring on their modded electric bike. World building is pretty good as you learn a bit more of what happened to the world each new episode.
Always nice to see custom endings and in this case, they reflect their experience for that episode. Funny they actually put the Sword Art Online OP "Crossing Field" in it along with "Fushigi no Carte" from Aobuta instead of covers. Pretty fun guessing the songs they used.
Pretty fun road trip show overall and maybe it'll inspire your next destination in Japan.
