Britannia has fallen together with Lelouch's death. His brother Schneizel manages to unite the fragmented nations to restore order and peace as The United Federation of Nations. However, a faction of Britannian forces declare war on the United States of Japan, conquering Hokkaido and declaring themselves as Neo-Britannia under the rule of Lord Norland (a former Knights of the Round member). Now, the discrimination against Japanese who resided in the territory once known as "Area 11" begins once again.

Sakuya Sumeragi posing as a laid back Britannian male mercenary named Roze, operates together with assasin Ash Phoenix taking on jobs that oppose the new empire. Their successful jobs at retaliating against the empire has earned themselves a formiddable reputation known as the "Nameless Mercenary" brothers. Now together with Hokkaido's resistance, Seven Shining Stars, Sakuya must recover the princess of Hokkaido Sakura Sumeragi, also her friend.

This takes place 5 years after the Revival movie. First episode wasn't too impressive. I was just guessing at what points the Geass power was used. Mecha battles were great but no surprise for a Sunrise show. Pretty good twist on Sakuya though.

This is more action focused than the mind games the original had. It's mostly just watching sadist Neo-Britannians being killed off while giving their best psycho expression. Romcom scenes are pretty cute.

On the other hand, pacing's pretty good. An all-out action show mostly. The best part is probably seeing familiar faces make a brief return from the original series.

Plenty of fan service from camera angles to character designs. A lot rear shots. Some might as well be seductive photo shoots (poorly done ones too). They're done at the worse moments sometimes instead of just being a filler scene, it's literally in your face. Watching the girls battle it out is like watching gameplay from the Dead or Alive games. You get fan service from the guys too of course like bimbo Ash.

If you're a Code Geass fan, watch it for the original cast. It's more action oriented than mind games.
