The biggest annual Anime fair "TAF 2007" starts today and runs until March 25th with 270 companies exhibiting their work. All sorts of Anime related goodies are on show here including some of the latest games.

Most importantly, awards are also given out for shows of various categories. Listing the most notable ones, the Anime of the Year award goes to the movie "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo". The "TV Anime Award of Excellence" goes to three shows; Code Geass Rebellion of Lelouche, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu and Death Note (all great shows!).

Best voice actor award goes to none other than Aya Hirano who continues to gain popularity amongst fans after her role in the Haruhi show.

Pixar's "Cars" managed to scoop up the Overseas Animation Award. Congratulations to them!
