With the basic rules working similarly to any other card games of this type such as Yu Gi Oh, you start by creating your deck of one to six cards. Once that has been done, you are allowed to place three of them onto the field facing up or down.

Next in the battle face, you can summon your monsters from the cards and then choose one of their two attacks. If one of your monsters happen to be losing, you can switch them with one of your other active monsters.

Apart from that, there is a "Reverse Skill" system that only some monsters possess. This powerful attack can be triggered when all your active monsters have fallen and you have one of your other cards with this skill facing down.
