Adult Skills Test, Site Renewed with Sample Questions

Konami's "Otonaryoku no Kentei" is yet another title that aims to increase your social skills and goes on sale today. The title is supervised by Souichirou Ishihara, the editor behind the "Adult's Training Lecture" magazine which started back in 1993 and is also the author of the "Adult" series of books.

There's an "Adult's Lecture" mode that teaches through a series of questions, "Adult's Test" that tests how you're doing through parody scenarios and wireless link support. Wireless link support allows players to exchange profiles using their game business cards and also compete in answering the questions.

Currently, the renewed website has 6 different sample questions for you to try. One of them being, "One day a colleague of yours who you don't hate or like asks you, "Are you free tonight?" How would you reply?"

1) Yeah, I'm free.
2) I think I have something on my schedule but, what is it?
3) Well yeah, kind of...
4) Depends on what you have in mind.

Read on to see how well you scored and an explanation!

Choosing answer 2 gives you 5 points, answer 3 gives 3 points and answer 4/1 gives 0 points.

Relations between workers are important so you will want to give a reply that inflicts the least amount of stress. It is a skill in society to answer appropriately if you wish to get through life in society without difficulties. If you chose 1 and your colleague makes a difficult request of you such as "I want you to cover my work tonight." then you already can't refuse.

Reply 2 would be the move a careful adult would make. If it happens to be something you wouldn't mind then you can take time to fix your "schedule" and tell them that you might be able to make it. You can then contact them again afterwards.

Reply 3 is just too blunt and reply 4 is generally a taboo because you're giving the impression that you don't want to do whatever your colleague is going to suggest. You must never give a reply that directly says, "yes" or "no".

Why not take a break?
