Tekken Dark Ressurection
Just received my copy of "Tekken Dark Resurrection" from Gameplay.com this morning and this game is impressive (for the PSP, of course)! Gameplay's smooth, short loading times, great graphics and plenty of modes to get through. Being able to download Ghost data off the internet is just another great thing that adds to the replayability of the game.
I still don't like how they always switch the 'X' and 'O' buttons round in the English versions of PSP games. Why can't they just leave the controls alone? It's confusing when I switch between JP and English games.
For those of you who don't know, it's basically Tekken 5 but with a lot of extras added in. You can play through the new Dojo and Gold Rush modes then upload your records onto the net to join the rankings. Then there's the few extra characters such as Lili too.
I don't actually own a PS2 so I've never played much Tekken apart from a long time ago when I had a few shots of Tekken Tag on the PSX so, good to have my own copy now. I just spent about an hour playing through the Arcade mode and my thumb's a little raw from the frantic action using the rough analogue pad.
Anyway, need to get back to work before I play any more of this!
Bundle of new modes to enjoy.
The Tekken Dojo, one of the fun new tournament modes you can play.
You can log online to download new Ghost data which copies the fighting patterns of other players.
Here's the online rankings for November so far for Time Attack Mode.
One of the new characters, Lili.
It's Tekken bowling!
