Death Note has now been set for a 2007 February release from Konami. Famitsu claims it will be a new "communication" detective genre where the player will be working to deceive his enemies and clear any suspicions placed upon him.

From the screenshots, we can see Raito giving away hints such as here, "Only a Death God eats apples." The bottom screenshot shows some speech bubbles showing the Kanji for "trust", "suspicion" and "special".
