80 Queue in Akiba Early for FFIII Crystal Edition
申し訳ありませんが、この記事は和訳がございません。
Fans have been forming their own queue outside the Yodabashi AKIBA store since midnight, eager to get their hands on the limited edition package of the new Final Fantasy III remake for the DS. With no special organisation by the store itself, the fans have been keeping their own queue in order. By 3 AM in the morning, the queue had already reached 80 people.
Note the package contains the limited edition DSL and the game only!
Speaking to one of the people in the first four places of the queue, Famitsu found a 24 year old man who had been queuing since midnight but has never played the original before. However, he did grow up with the SNES, touching the FF series of games when he played FFIV. He says, "I actually have a DS and have always wanted to try out this game. I thought I'd join in the queue [for this limited Crystal Edition package] as a sort of commemoration (Laughs)." He also went on about how his friends who played FFXI were joining in the queue too.
Soon by 8:45AM, the queue grew to over 150 people outside the store.
People being allowed in, 10 at a time making use of the Games Corner on level 6 of the building and the register on level 1.
And the queue continues round the corner.
Outside you can see the long FFIII banner.
End of the queue.
I would probably have joined in too if I was in Japan. I know you can just pre-order the package somewhere but, it's more about the fun of gathering with fellow fans.
