Some more screens and info about the new Chocobo: Mahou no Ehon title from Squarenix. Taking the role as producer for the first time will be, Yuki Yokoyama who worked on the development of Drag-On Dragoon 2 and Full Metal Alchemist: The Broken Angel. Character designs are done by Toshiyuki Itahana.

One day, a Black Mage (Kuroma) arrives at the chocobo farm, carrying with him a mysterious picture book. When he opens it to show Chocobo and White Mage (Shiroma), all the chocobos are sucked inside! The book was what sealed the demon king, Bebooz and now it's up to the chocobos to save their friends and stop the evil king.

Players will be running around and exploring maps where they will either find magical picture books or encounter monsters. When books are found, you will play various mini games. Beating them will reward you with more cards to defeat monsters in card battles.
