Treasure Gaust: Gaust Diver, Walk Around with Your DS to Hunt Gausts!
Now here's an interesting new game that's trying something along the lines of the first Boktai game.
Like Pokemon, Gaust Diver will have you literally walking around catching "Gausts" which are mischievous creatures who bother humans. They can't be seen however and can only be detected by their magnetic ghost energy. After entering the "Amifield", you can make use of 3 Gausts maximum to battle the ones in the wild.
To find these Gausts, you'll be walking around with the DS searching for this kind of energy using a built-in "Gaust Diver Chip" in the game card. Just as if you were insect hunting, battles are then initiated once you come in range of a Gaust that is at least 20ml.
They haven't revealed what this hardware really does but, maybe it's in some form of a pedometer...
Expect the RPG from Bandai-Namco sometime in Spring.
