The much anticipated monster hunting ARPG sequel that went on sale February 22nd shoots over the 1 million copies mark in Japan today. Capcom comments how it's all thanks to the positive response to their promotion campaigns such as the golden PSP package that SCE released and the MHP2 themed accessory set.

MHP2 is due to hit European shores sometime in September.
